We are now seeking applicants for the role of Learning Technology Integrationist to start in August 2023.

Reporting to the Director of Information & Learning Technology, the Learning Technology Integrationist plays a key role in enhancing learning _with_ and _about_ technology for students and teachers across our International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes (Grades As a member of Mulgrave's Learning & Technology Services team (LTS), they work closely with faculty and students to enhance our curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular technology-related offerings, as well as serve as a support to teachers in effectively integrating technology into lesson plans to enhance student learning.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Enhance student learning in technology by:
  • Teaching one course (most likely MYP Design in G6-10)
  • Developing and delivering technologyfocused electives as part of our Learning Enrichment and Personalization (LEAP) Elective programme
  • Leading at least two cocurricular activities per term related to technology (coding, game design, artificial intelligence, 3d printing, robotics, etc.)
  • Supporting student involvement in external technologyrelated activities, competitions and challenges (i.e. hackathons, robotics competitions, entrepreneurial ventures, etc).
  • Support deep integration of Digital Literacy and Citizenship (DLC) programming in the school community by:
  • Developing age-appropriate resources and materials to support digital citizenship and literacy skill development for G6-12 students
  • Working closely with the Junior School Learning Technology Integrationist to enhance the DLC scope and sequence, and ensure alignment of DLC skills across the PK12 continuum
  • Working with classroom teachers and learning leaders to identify opportunities to authentically link DLC learning to the written and taught curriculum
  • Sharing tips and strategies for home use of technology for learning and recreation with parents/guardians, including through live and virtual information sessions and workshops
  • Working with the Learning Strategies team to identify, procure and evaluate assistive technologies to further support students with learning differences
  • Build faculty capacity in the effective teaching of creative and design technologies by:
  • Working closely with the Visual Arts and Design teams to ensure optimal use of our state-of-the-art Maker Spaces
  • Encouraging, supporting, and training faculty in the integration of design technologies (i.e. coding, robotics, 3D printing, 3D design, drones, electronics, virtual reality, etc.) into existing curriculum
  • Teaching coding, robotics, and other creative and design technologies as integration opportunities are identified
  • Supporting students in utilising creative and design technologies as options for completing projects and assessments
  • Support teachers in integrating technology to enhance student learning by:
  • Identifying, coordinating and supporting the learning technology training needs of all staff through workshops, sharing of good practice,
