    You are an experienced Senior Cost Consultant with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment
    A clear development plan harnessing your potential and give you opportunity and support to grow through the business.
    Continuing Professional Development support whether that be for a professional qualification or within the industry.
    Identifying risks and opportunities in the design that will have a cost implication.
    Participate in the development and implementation of change control procedures.
    Integrated change management across various packages, including controlling, tracking and reporting pre-contract changes across a multi-billion dollar program.
    Pre-contract change control including reviewing impact and advising on funding sources.
    Reviewing and assuring Construction Cost Estimate produced by others at all stages of design.

    Managing and taking responsibility for estimating and cost planning activitiesincluding taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan/estimate to the client team.

    Carrying out research related to construction market conditions throughout Canada, including analysis of official published data as well as engaging with the market to obtain up to date rates for all construction products.

    Managing and mentoring junior staff.
    Other Key responsibilities at Senior Consultant level:
    Staff management– Input into performance review process of consultants and graduate consultants.
    Recruitment - Inclusion in selection and recruitment process, including interviews.

    Knowledge management – Ensuring that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.

    10 years' experience delivering pre-construction and post contract construction cost services.
    ~ A recognized University Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field including a WES (or equivalent) certificate.
    ~ Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset but not essential.

    Support to become professionally qualified.
