Wage Range $28 – $34/hr Full Time, On Site
Tridon Communications is currently seeking a Junior Radio Service Technician to add to our growing Team in BC. This position is local, working directly on clients LNGC Site in Kitimat, BC. ***Relocation assistance package provided.

What You Bring:

You have good analytical, problem solving, trouble shooting and mechanical skills and have a can-do attitude, practice safety first and are not afraid of hard work.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or a degree in electronics or wireless engineering with hands on experience testing, installing, programming, and repairing wireless and electronic communication equipment and systems.

Must Haves:
~2-year diploma in electronics engineering technology or related field/ 4-year bachelor's degree in electronics combined with related work experience
~ Valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record within the last 5 years
~ Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing on a regular and frequent basis for access to site
~ Be able to provide a criminal record check

Ideal Skills:
Hands on experience working with conventional, trunking, and P25 systems in industrial environments
Experience working with portable and mobile radio equipment with basic diagnostic and radio programming
Experience installing radio and communications related equipment on light and heavy-duty vehicles
Knowledge of hand and power tools, test equipment and design/fabrication techniques
