Position Summary

Location
66 Slater Street, Suite 1200 Ottawa, ON/hybrid


Languages
Bilingualism is preferred (English and French)


Compensation
$37.16/hour


Responsibilities

  • Builds and manages member list
  • Executes segmentation plans
  • Updates CBA web properties daily
  • Administers CBA websites using content managing systems
  • Tests webpages for accessibility compliance
  • Creates, optimizes, and manipulates graphics according to established brand guidelines
  • Works with internal stakeholders to produce timely marketing and social media campaigns
  • Writes content and posts on social media channels
  • Proactively identifies enhancements and improvements to existing member communications
  • Other related duties as assigned

Education
A college or university degree in web design/digital media, or a related discipline such as interactive multimedia and design, is required


Experience

  • A minimum 2year experience in
  • Website maintenance with a content management system
  • HTML, CSS, JQUERY-Java script
  • WCAG 2.0 level AA
  • Web/digital communications environment

Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of
  • Adobe CC products
  • Dreamweaver and Photoshop
  • Microsoft Office
  • Popular social media channels
  • Excellent organizational skills and adherence to strict deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, under pressure, and as a part of a team
  • Experience within a nonprofit and/or memberbased association is preferred
  • Knowledge of
the Canadian legal system is preferred

  • Bilingualism is preferred
