LandSolutions is looking to expand their talent pipeline in the Greater Toronto Area to service our clients by supporting the Talent Sourcing team in our Asset Management Division.

The Role

We are seeking a Communications Specialist to support the department's activities, accountable for the communications planning and execution for approval memos as well as related correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and accurate translation related to approval memos.

Position responsibilities

Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
Organize information and complete writing responsibilities according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by stakeholders, including executive.
Take minutes during meetings and manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
Edit documentation for clarity without changing key information.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelors degree in communications or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a communications/ technical writing position.
Experience in real estate or land related industries is considered an asset.
Excellent MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a keen eye for details.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Outstanding organizational and timemanagement skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate sound judgment in determining appropriate course of action quickly.
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholderrelations skills.
