Responsibilities:

Process biweekly payroll using Ceridian and ADP for Canadian and US offices (approximately employees)
Investigate and respond to all payroll inquiries from the following sources including but not limited to CRA, Employer Health Tax, Workman's Compensation, Service Canada etc.
Ensure payroll records are organized and maintained in an orderly manner.
Verify system produced Records of Employment and ensure they are produced and delivered in a timely manner and produce manual ROE's when required
Prepare payroll reports as required
Process company expense reimbursements through payroll
Reconcile bank accounts Reporting:
Prepare and reconcile payroll biweekly for accounting
Prepare payroll journal entries biweekly in Excel
Prepare and update manual cheques when required (make sure tax remittance is updated also so T4 information is correct)
Ensure all commission charge backs are charged to salesmen every month
Prepare quarterly assistant charge backs to salesmen

Year-end reconciliation
Workman's compensation, EHT
Workman's Compensation monthly bills
RRSP/ Pension Plan monthly bills Group Benefits Administration:
Inputs new hires through Web Admin
Responds to any group benefits insurance inquiries in a timely manner Skills:
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in business or accounting
1+ year payroll processing experience and PCP designation or Working towards PCP designation
High attention to detail
Good communication skills
Sense of organization and time management

Salary:
$55,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
