Content & Marketing Specialist - Guelph, Canada - Hammond Manufacturing
Description
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop copy and edit technical content for web and print media.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as sales, human resources, and product management, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Manage social media channels and monitor engagement metrics to improve social media marketing efforts.
- Promotional swag management.
- Track the performance of communications and content to identify effective or evolved communications solutions proactively.
- Creating businessspecific content to deliver and strengthen brand awareness.
- Take a proactive approach to coordinating ongoing content independently and with internal teams.
- Stay informed of industry news and developments to support our marketing and communication efforts for all verticals.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications and experience:
- Two to three years of technical experience and postsecondary education in Graphic Design, Marketing, Journalism, Business, and Communications. Highly developed editing, copywriting skills, and creative writing skills.
- An interest in electrical/electronic equipment and mechanical products is an asset for developing product knowledge.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Keyshot.
- Detailoriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a group as well as independently motivated with mínimal supervision.
- Experience implementing digital and social media marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, technical and design processes is an asset but not required.
Job Types:

Salary:
$55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
