- Provide physiotherapy services to clients through assessments and interventions to enhance functional independence and safety.
- Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to set and achieve client-centered goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical care and education provided, and recommend equipment and aids for optimal client mobility and safety.
- Assist in delegating tasks to family members or caregivers and educate them on appropriate care.
- Act as a resource on physiotherapy techniques, provide staff education, and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Maintain knowledge of evidence-based practice, set performance goals, and assist in purchasing supplies and equipment.
- Facilitate student placements, participate in research projects, and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an approved Physiotherapy school.
- Two (2) years of recent clinical experience in a relevant setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC and eligibility for Canadian Association of Physiotherapy membership.
- Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of physiotherapy regimes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent judgment and leadership abilities.
- Organizational and workload prioritization skills.
- Team player with the capacity to work independently.
- Proficiency in operating related equipment and software applications.

Overview:
As a physiotherapist at Fraser Health, you will assess and treat clients with various health care needs in community settings.
