Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative
  • Initial project costing and budgeting
  • Tender, negotiations and award trade and supplier contracts on behalf of Caliber Projects
  • Administer and approve trade change orders, as required.
  • Design, development, and completion of working documents.
  • Develop project scheduling of major activities and milestones.
  • Coordinate all on site construction activity.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress draws and related materials.
  • Coordinate specific project requirements with all parties to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Coordinate consultants, trade contractors and site staff in resolving issues.
  • Comply with all OHS regulations.
  • Implement trade specific quality control methods.
  • Arrange required permits from Municipalities.
  • Maintain an effective level of communication with the client.

  • Maintain a good working relationship with all sub trades and employees by personally demonstrating integrity, honesty, hard work, respect, passion, and innovation.
  • Conduct all construction activities with customer satisfaction as the number one goal.
  • Maintain the highest possible quality in all work constructed
  • Understand all impactions of the course of Construction insurance policy
  • Maintain a clean working environment for all trades and employees at the project site.
  • Prepare and record weekly site meeting minutes in conjunction with site supervisor.

Required Education, Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • A Management Degree or Diploma
  • A Strong proficiency with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills with discipline and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and provide solutions using sound judgment and decisionmaking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read constructionworking drawings.
