    Job Overview

    Joining our HR team, the role of HR Business Partner focuses on supporting our cannabis stores. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be based in the Edmonton SNDL office and in-store, guiding business leaders through various HR matters and providing innovative solutions to drive business success. Your responsibilities include employee relations, leadership development, and collaborating with different teams to implement HR initiatives effectively. This role requires strong HR acumen, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, and a proactive mindset to handle diverse tasks.

    Scope of Role

    • Act as the main HR contact for a business sector, supporting leaders and employees.
    • Provide guidance on investigations, conflict resolution, and compliance with legal requirements.
    • Contribute to HR policy development and training programs.
    • Manage performance, employee engagement, and documentation.
    • Analyze HR metrics and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with OHS team on safety policies and disability management.
    • Participate in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
    • Keep up to date with HR trends and legislation changes.

    Knowledge and Experience

    • 3-5+ years in HR role.
    • Experience in retail is advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of HR legislation.
    • Proficiency in HR tools and Microsoft Office.
    • Travel may be required.

    Education

    • HR diploma/degree required.
