KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a strong customerbase and sales pipeline within the assigned territory
- Identify potential clients, partners, and target markets through networking and industry events
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners
- Develop new business relationships through effective communication
- Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Communicate with client and customer contacts on execution of sales delivery
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as procurement, operations, and safety to execute on deliverables
- Provide regular updates and reporting to regional sales management on sales and business development
- Implement and monitor business improve strategies, policies, and procedures
- Establish annual budgets for effective use of resources and optimize performance and growth
- Work with Human Resources to recruit, manage, and develop employees
- Establish and maintain relationships with municipalities, ministries, and other key stakeholders
- Manage customer and client relationships and resolve servicerelated issues
- Develop extensive product knowledge
- Attend industry tradeshows and other events
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience preferably within constructionrelated industry
- 3+ years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience
- Proven track record as a coach, mentor and developer of talent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and project/change management
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Valid provincial drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Detailoriented individual with a passion for operational excellence
HOURS OF WORK
Daily schedule may vary depending upon sales needs and may include tradeshows, networking events, etc. that occur outside regular business hours. General office hours would be 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
