Tundra is seeking to fill a
Technical Analyst position based out of our
Winnipeg, Manitoba office.

Reporting to the Lead Technical Analyst some specific duties and responsibilities of the
Technical Analyst include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle support requests finding effective resolution to these issues.
  • Escalate support issues that cannot be addressed to an appropriate technician.
  • Documents steps taken and resolution of support issues in IT ticket tracking systems and knowledgebase.
  • Manage employee onboards and departures verifying systems and access are granted and removed as instructed.
  • Conduct research on products, services, standards, and good practices.
  • Find proactive ways of empowering our users to become selfsufficient with technologies including training, selfhelp guides and a knowledge base.
  • Asset management & inventory of all IT devices.
  • Communicate activities and other necessary items at IT team meetings.
  • Assists other supporting roles including systems, network, and project execution.
  • Participate in oncall rotation and responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of information technology.
  • Microsoft, CompTIA and ITIL certifications a plus.
  • Relatable experience with business technology.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows client operating systems, Office, and other productivity tools.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Server operating systems.
  • Familiar with Active Directory Users and Computers and other user administration technologies.
  • Strong understanding of all sorts of hardware and components including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, monitors, and cell phones.
  • General knowledge of networking devices and services including routers, switches, internet, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN and WAN.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong decisionmaking skills.
  • Ability to conduct research.
  • Selfmotivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
