    Description

    As PARSONS grows its Water Business Sector, seeking to add a Civil Engineer – Linear Infrastructure to enhance its expertise in Municipal Water/Wastewater/Stormwater Management infrastructure in the Greater Toronto Region to support the Mobility Solutions Team.

    The team designs, manages contracts, and oversees municipal roadway projects, land development, and related linear infrastructure. With a history dating back to 1956, PARSONS boasts a team of experts known for solving tough challenges.

    The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in linear water/wastewater projects, working with municipal clients across Canada.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Work with the Group leader/manager, senior engineer, and project managers on linear infrastructure projects.
    • Participate in a variety of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects.
    • Provide design engineering services related to linear environmental infrastructure.
    • Assist in the detailed design of linear projects and coordinate with the wider team.
    • Demonstrate productivity, time management, and attention to detail in document preparation.
    • Support project plans, address issues, and ensure timely deliverables.
    • Communicate effectively with the project team, clients, and permitting agencies.
    • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills throughout the project life cycle.

    Qualifications:

    • Registered as a P.Eng or eligible for registration within 12 months.
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
    • 4+ years of experience in linear water and wastewater infrastructure.

      • Preferred Qualifications

      • Proficient in using integrated 3D environment software such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and BIM.
      • Familiarity with water distribution modeling software.
      • Experience in contract administration and project planning.
      • Understanding of municipal linear water infrastructure design standards.
      • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
      • Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
