    Description

    Overview
    This position works as a field engineer in our Nutrisurance division. Developing and installing novel application solutions for our products on producer level. As a field engineer you will also be involved in user training, health and safety monitoring and calibration services. There is considerable opportunity to develop new application technology and closely cooperate with our global application engineering teams.

    Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for the design, manufacturing and installation of product application systems from request to solution. This includes both electrical and mechanical assembly.
    2. Develop and test tailor-made PLC programs to maximize the applicator efficiency.
    3. Participate in development of innovative application solutions to support the Kemin programs.
    4. Provide day-to-day support to customers.
    5. Assist and lead equipment installations, commissioning and give training to the operators.
    6. Assist sales with field trials and application surveys.
    7. Monitor program efficiency via sampling and reporting.
    8. Prepare manuals and user guides.
    9. Participate in attending local exhibitions, seminars, training and workshops.
    10. Assist Sales Manager at working out quotations and taking care of all correspondence for new projects.

    Qualifications

    1. Relevant tertiary qualification or training in Electro-mechanics.
    2. Ability to read, understand and create electrical drawings is essential.
    3. Taking initiative to keep systems and up-to-date, doing research for technical/economical improvements.
    4. Design and modify electrical drawings according to the functional specifications.
    5. Design and modify mechanical drawings according to the functional specifications.
    6. Make both mechanical and electrical "As-Built" drawings.
