- Coordinate the submission of forecast data.
- Conduct statistical analysis of historical data and market insights to validate the forecast.
- Maximize forecast accuracy to drive the correct production and purchasing requirements.
- Actively work to identify innovative process improvement opportunities, and lead implementation with minimal support.
- Support the Business Insights and Commercial Planning Manager with ad-hoc tasks, including creating and presenting actionable insights through data analysis
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain the reasons for variances between the consensus demand forecast and actual sales, variances between the consensus demand forecast and financial volume forecasts, and variances between the current and previous month's consensus demand forecasts.
- Contribute to the New Product Implementation process by providing insight on demand for new products.
- At least 2 years of experience in forecasting, data analysis, and strategic insights.
- Financial analysis and statistical fundamental knowledge an asset.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or similar applications required.
- Experience with Demand Planning fundamentals including inventory management, sales trends, material readiness, allocations, and shipment logistics.

What the opportunity looks like:
As business partner to the Americas Regional Commercial & Marketing teams, this position plays a crucial role in the support of Sales and Marketing strategy for the US, Canada, LatAm & Caribbean.
Responsible for leading forecasting in the US and Canada, and supporting our business analysis at the region, state and customer level, under this supervision of the Commercial Planning and Business Analytics Manager (Americas), this role will further bolster our business intelligence reporting and analysis.
The role will leverage IRI, NABCA, Nielsen, IWSR, EZ Focus, and VIP, as well as Shipments, Depletions, Distribution and Inventory reporting provided by our distributor partners to deliver high-quality forecasting and strategic decision support, recommendations for sustainable value creation, and communication of financial risks and opportunities.
For our NYC employees this will be a hybrid role with 2 days in the office.
