    Vetio Animal Health is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) dedicated to animal health; we integrate product development with full-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing through a Quality-by-Design process. Our mission is to develop and manufacture products that improve the lives of animals, while ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of all our products to the highest of industry standards.

    The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of assigned projects related to the development, testing, and manufacturing of our pharmaceutical products. Playing a key role in a project's overall success, this position provides the direction, planning, and coordination throughout all stages of the project from successful initiation, execution, monitoring and closing initiatives. This is an ideal role for a person looking to learn in an entrepreneurial environment and has a client first approach (external and internal client management).

    Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide project leadership, coordination, and support to internal multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure projects are kicked off appropriately, including setting expectations of project deadlines, planning and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Providing clear, timely and accurate communications to the project team members on all aspects of the projects, including decisions made with the management team.
  • Defining comprehensive project plans that balance scope, time, cost, and resources.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risk and communicate effectively with resolutions.
  • Ensure equipment and components are identified in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with program-management reviews, weekly status reporting, and logistics support (e.g. meeting coordination, reviews of deliverables, project dependencies, etc.)
  • Providing leadership for the delivery and execution of all project phases, with the ability to adapt and still deliver according to the strategic overall plan.
  • Motivating, engaging, and focusing the efforts of multi-site teams by providing clear direction, ensuring access to required tools, and removing barriers as necessary.
  • Playing a role in organizing, attending, and facilitating project workshops with diverse groups of cross-team stakeholders.
  • Ensuring that appropriate processes and techniques are being leveraged by project teams, and that they are executed in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensuring all projects have an appropriate level of governance and are executed in accordance with company's project execution standards and practices.
  • Ensure timely communication of operational status and issues to affected teams including management.
  • Meet and maintain compliance with GMP guidelines.
  • Ensure timely review and updates of manufacturing, validation and other documentation associated with the project(s).
  • Ensuring a successful solution is delivered on time and on budget, and that exceeds expectations - quality and consistency.
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc is considered an asset)
  • Project Management Certification is considered an asset
  • Minimum two years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience and good understanding of manufacturing and/or R&D.
  • Experience in project budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills, with the proven ability to motivate others.
  • Strong knowledge of project-management techniques, tools, and methodologies for planning, organizing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously (Smartsheet, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel)
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills, with a rigorous approach to organization
  • Strong presentation skills: proven ability to deliver results and project scopes to internal and external clients with confidence.
  • An enthusiastic team player who enjoys sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas, and is open to the ideas and input of others.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of delivering on deadline and keeping project teams focused and on track; able to prioritize a wide range of tasks with an understanding of the big picture and inter-dependencies across projects.
  • Positive and energetic attitude, self-motivated and able to work independently with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; French is an asset.

    Vos responsabilités comprendront :

  • Assurer la direction, la coordination et le soutien du projet aux équipes multidisciplinaires internes.
  • Veiller à ce que les projets soient lancés de façon appropriée, y compris l'établissement des attentes quant aux échéances des projets, à la planification et à la satisfaction des intervenants.
  • Fournir des communications claires, opportunes et précises aux membres de l'équipe de projet sur tous les aspects des projets, y compris les décisions prises avec l'équipe de gestion.
  • Définir des plans de projet complets qui équilibrent la portée, le temps, les coûts et les ressources.
  • Effectuer la gestion des risques pour minimiser les risques du projet et communiquer efficacement avec les résolutions.
  • S'assurer que l'équipement et les composants sont identifiés en temps opportun.
  • Aider à l'examen de la gestion du programme, aux rapports d'étape hebdomadaires et au soutien logistique (p. ex. coordination des réunions, examen des produits livrables, dépendances aux projets, etc.)
  • Assurer un leadership pour l'exécution et l'exécution de toutes les phases du projet, avec la capacité de s'adapter et de continuer à livrer conformément au plan stratégique global.
  • Motiver, engager et concentrer les efforts des équipes multi-sites en fournissant une orientation claire, en assurant l'accès aux outils requis et en éliminant les obstacles au besoin.
  • Jouer un rôle dans l'organisation, la participation et l'animation d'ateliers de projet avec divers groupes d'intervenants inter-équipes.

  • Assurer la communication en temps opportun de l'état opérationnel et des problèmes aux équipes touchées, y compris la direction.
  • Respecter et maintenir la conformité aux lignes directrices sur les BPF.
  • Veiller à ce que la fabrication, la validation et les autres documents associés au(x) projet(s) soient examinés et mis à jour en temps opportun.
  • S'assurer qu'une solution réussie est livrée dans les délais et le budget, et cela dépasse les attentes - qualité et cohérence.
  • Compétences et qualifications :

  • Baccalauréat (BSc est considéré comme un atout)
  • Certification en gestion de projet est considéré comme un actif
  • Minimum de deux ans d'expérience en gestion de projet dans l'industrie pharmaceutique
  • Expérience et bonne compréhension de la fabrication et/ou de la R&D.
  • Expérience dans la budgétisation et la prévision de projets.
  • Solides compétences en communication, avec la capacité éprouvée de motiver les autres.
  • Solide connaissance des techniques, des outils et des méthodologies de gestion de projet pour la planification, l'organisation et la surveillance simultanées de plusieurs projets (Smartsheet, PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel)
  • Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes logiques et analytiques, avec une approche rigoureuse de l'organisation
  • Solides compétences en présentation : capacité éprouvée à fournir des résultats et des portées de projet aux clients internes et externes en toute confiance.
