- Review, edit and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements;
- Assist in contractual review of construction contracts;
- Assist in contractual negotiations
- Assist in managing litigation files
- Reviewing and editing credit applications
- Case law and legislation research as required
- Manage contractual deadlines and notice requirements and contractual requirements
- Coordinating with outside counsel through the General Counsel
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to manage high volume of workload
- Negotiating with customers and vendors
- Willing to learn the specialty area of Construction Law
- LLB or J.D. and/or Accreditation from Federation of Law Societies (if applicable)
- 1-5 years of experience in any area of Law
- All licensing fees and CPD requirements will be paid by OSCO
- Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience will be considered ideal
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience setting and managing priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in communicating at all levels of the organization

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Risk Management and Administration, the In-House Counsel (Lawyer) works closely with the Contracts team to support our various lines of business. This position is responsible for assisting with case law and litigation research and providing exceptional client support. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to balance competing priorities to achieve accurate and consistent work output while ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely fashion. A professional demeanor and attitude are key, as the successful candidate will be expected to communicate and work with all levels of management.
