    Description
    We are looking for a full-time Registered Early Childhood Educator or ECA to join our Tiny Hoppers team in Milton.

    A successful candidate should be able to display strong communication skills, kind and gentle when interacting with children, and use creative ways when engaged with children.

    Requirements:
    • Standard First Aid and CPR-C
    • Recent Vulnerable Sector check
    • Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECEs (if RECE)
    • Up to date immunization record
    • Good communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
    • Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel
    • Must be able to plan and assist with daily program and activities following an emergent curriculum
    • Must be able to maintain proper documentation
    • Food Handlers certificate (preferred)

    Responsibilities:
    • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children under 6 that promote physical, cognitive and social development
    • Complete daily observations of children and prepare documentation of their learning
    • Communicate with families to foster an open and collaborative relationship and actively encouraging their participation in the program
    • Assist children with mealtimes, naptime, toileting and dressing
    • Work collaboratively with Tiny Hoppers staff
    • Adhere to Halton Region and Ministry of Education regulations
    • Ensure children are engaged in activities, playing safely and having fun
