_The opportunity_
The Gildan Internship Program 2024 offers students the opportunity to participate in stimulating projects and gain valuable experience that will help them transition to the workplace.
The intern will support Gildan's Human Resource Corporate Department by supporting the administration of the Head Office HR programs, support Talent Acquisition activities and help structure TA tools.
_ The role_

Talent Acquisition: Helps structuring tools and supports ad-hoc activities
o Participate in the recruitment process, by supporting the creation of Job posting and administrating background checks.

HR programs: Support the implementation and follow-up on the HR & talent management programs for the Head office employees:
- Assist with support in the areas of onboarding, employee and leadership training, and tracking.
HR Governance & administration:
o Update HR documents with the new HR branding and Employee Value Proposition material.
o Update policies and procedures
- Perform various administrative duties including, organizing, drafting employee communication and correspondence, production of various reports etc.
Other:
Supports day to day activities and projects related to the Corporate HR department #LI-VG1
_ The requirement_
Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, human resources or related field
- Completed at least 2nd year in an undergraduate program
- Currently studying in a field related with the department in which the internship is offered
- Relevant course work/projects/experience in the field of interest, OR relevant leadership or community involvement experience
Attributes
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Interest in HR processes and leadership development
- High willingness to learn and motivated
- Demonstrates critical thinking and analytical skills, resourceful
- Strong Teamwork/Collaboration
- This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French.
