    Our office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Toronto team. This position will be to work on projects for Rail transit infrastructures (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars).
    Assist our clients in the conceptual design definition, helping in technical feasibility and constructability.
    # Present the alternatives, and the design to the contractor and the client.
    # Review technical documentation and identify critical defects.
    # Provide guidance to modellers for the BIM model and drawing production.
    # Conduct periodic site reviews to ensure construction complies with design intent and codes.
    # Review shop drawings and field services in design and construction.

    Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
    Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an asset
    Minimum 10 years relevant experience in structural design and rail & transit projects
    Experience with complex construction projects involving P3, Infrastructure and/or underground LRT and subway
    Expertise in reinforced concrete structures
    Desirable knowledge of pre-stress concrete and precast construction
    Technical competency in the design of structural building systems
    Knowledge and understanding of structural design software such as SAP2000 and Robot Structural Analysis is expected
    Experience with Microsoft Office, Navisworks, Bluebeam desirable
    Project management and coordination skills with a strong ability to provide leadership and motivation to project structural teams.
