Description

The Video Editor is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of high quality, internal and external strategic communications in support of the organization's goals and priorities.

The Editor will edit, animate, and publish video content on internal and external channels.

As a member of the Creative team (think of it as our internal agency), this role requires a passionate storyteller with an eye for detail, and the technical skills to see the postproduction process through from ingestion to publishing.

Your Impact:

You show extreme ownership for postproduction—from improving workflows to raising the bar in terms of quality
Develop concepts and tactics with the creative and marketing teams that address business goals
Edit video footage and still images into compelling stories that impact our audiences.
Elevate 2D/3D workflow by identifying opportunities for innovation and making recommendations about which technologies to invest in
You archive content and maintain a highly organized library of video and audio assets
Create various types of content including longform, shortform, documentarystyle, newsstyle, educational and social media vignettes
You research industry trends and pitch new ideas, designs and story concepts
You colour correct and audio mix
You will contribute to the ongoing expansion of new content across all of our products

About You:

You have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Film/Video/Photography Production or experience in a related field
You have a Minimum 3 years' experience in news, commercial, corporate or documentary post production
Experience working in Digital/Creative Marketing
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D/Blender, 2D & 3D Animation
Experienced in the creation of content for all social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube
Organized, efficient and able to handle multiple projects and priorities at once
Able to work independently on projects or collaboratively with a team
Willing to learn and work in a hypergrowth company
Owner of a portfolio showcasing shipped projects and case studies
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various locations
