Description

As a DevOps Manager primarily working on Azure, you will have the opportunity to create and manage a new team supporting several teams leveraging Microsoft cloud services.

Within a fast pace high traffic environment, you will be responsible for supporting and improving multiple production and development infrastructure having complex and industry-leading methodologies and technologies.

What You'll Be Doing

Hire, build and manage a solid multicontinental DevOps team able to support Azure centric systems working closely with the developers
Oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery
Support and improve development and production infrastructure environments for multiple teams using a multitude of services
Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments while contributing to the business DevOps best practices and standards
Help and guide development teams selecting the most effective services aiming for the best balance between costs, performance, and reliability
Constantly improve the observability and stability of all systems and platforms.
Help the security team to have better visibility and improve the safety of our data and systems

What You'll Need To Be Successful

Must Haves

Several years of experience as a DevOps lead or manager working with Azure
Willing to help developers debugging intricate issues and mentor DevOps engineers
Understanding of scalability patterns applied to infrastructure architecture for high traffic systems
Not afraid of the command line and scripting
Good experience with Kubernetes and HELM
Good understanding of networking and infrastructure setup in a web hosting/delivery environment
Good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery models and best practices
Experience with Gitlab or similar CI/CD platform
Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tool such as Terraform
Knowledge of monitoring processes and tools
Excellent verbal and written communication
A love for making things efficient, reliable, and costfriendly

Nice To Haves

Great knowledge about the 3 major Cloud providers (Azure, GCP, AWS)
Able to read and understand C# (.NET)
Experience with managing highly available DB clusters and cache systems
Experience with Azure App Services, Function Apps, Batch, Event Hubs
Experiences with Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure DB (MySQL & PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of Synapse, Data Factories and Power BI
