    Apply locations Mississauga ON time type Full time posted on Posted 10 Days Ago job requisition id R The Senior Consultant, Center of Data Excellence works with Ryan's Tax Recovery Group and obtains, reconciles, analyzes and prepares data for use in performing sales tax consulting engagements with emphasis on preparing audit ready data populations for the Service Delivery teams quickly and efficiently.

    Assists clients and Ryan consultants in data analysis and manipulation.

    Contacts clients to assist in complicated topics and provides any required assistance in retrieving data from their systems.
    Assists clients in retrieving data from their systems.
    Analyzes data from client accounting systems to verify accuracy and completeness.
    Travels to client sites to assist client in gathering additional data and other necessary documentation.
    Assists in the acquisition, extraction, and transfer of client data.
    Manipulates data using Alteryx, Microsoft Access, SQL, Monarch and proprietary software.
    Load data in to proprietary analytics software.
    Assists in developing, testing, and working with programmer(s) for improvements to proprietary software.
    Bachelor's degree required.

    Also, exposure to accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, AS400 systems, Great Plains and Accpac are a definite asset.

    Accounting experience not required but is an asset. Two to four years of accounting or tax-related experience is preferred.


    Computer Skills:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Alteryx, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Outlook; SQL; Certificates and Licenses:
    Valid driver's license required.
    Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
    Position requires regular interaction with employees and clients both in person and via e-mail and telephone.
