    Description

    Tomlinson is currently seeking an Asphalt loader Operator to perform a variety of duties to ensure continuous operations of the asphalt plants.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with day to day asphalt production
  • Monitoring asphalt plant operations to ensure efficient plant operations
  • Safely unload truck loads of liquid asphalt
  • A variety of mechanical duties such as working on, and maintaining bearings and belts
  • Work on maintaining plant
  • Perform other activities at the asphalt plant, as directed

    • WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Working at the asphalt plant
  • Regular work shifts are hour days
  • Requires some extended shifts, night work and weekend work
  • Exposure to the elements
  • Some physical work – lifting
  • Working at heights

    • REQUIRMENTS

  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Specific asphalt training
  • Welding experience is an asset
