    Description

    Insight Global is looking for two Lead Data Engineers to join a large Asset Management company in Toronto on a full time basis.

    The successful candidates will be responsible for leading projects end-to-end within the Data distribution team.

    This role is heavily hands on and requires strong experience with cloud data services technologies, data pipelines/distribution, and Python/PySpark scripting.

    This is a hybrid role where candidates are required to go into office mandatory 3 days/week at their downtown Toronto location.

    . - University Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

    • 710 years experience in Data Engineering roles within any industry
    • Strong experience building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and PowerShell
    • Strong experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, EMR, and Glue
    • Previous experience working in asset management or financial industry
