    Description

    This position is primarily responsible for the shipping and receiving of sampling and laboratory supplies with a strong emphasis on customer service.

    Packaging and shipping of bottles and samples using appropriate couriers and procedures;
    Completion of required shipping paperwork and communication with couriers;
    Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
    Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
    English skills – good command of written and verbal;
    High School graduation required with some chemistry preferred;
    Valid Provincial Class 5 driver's license with clean driving history an asset;
    Some lab experience would be an asset;
    Full training will be provided.
    Ability to stand for up to a full shift;
    Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities;
    Please note that ALS operates 24/7 and will require day, afternoon, and graveyard shift work including weekends.
