    The Regional Business Manager (RBM) –Ontario/Atlantic Canada will direct and develop an effective regional sales and support team capable of achieving business objectives set by the company. This position will be responsible for the recruitment, coaching/counsel and evaluation of performance for Territory Managers as well as delivering the sales objective within budget for the Region.

  • Lead, motivate and inspire the regional team to build and maintain strong customer relationships, exude strong morale within the organization and exemplify Convatec's Values and Behaviors.
  • Implement strategies outlined by the sales and marketing management team.
  • Direct all members of the regional team to build and implement business plans aligned to company and regional business objectives and priorities.
  • Direct the contracting process within the region and be involved in the contract management of the regional health groups.
  • Cultivate provincial government and all third party payer relationships to positively affect contract policies and reimbursement policies.
  • Manage regional operational budgets.
  • 50% travel throughout the regions.

  • Language Skills Required:

  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Three to five years of successful sales management experience in the medical and or hospital environment is required
  • Broad knowledge of the Provincial and other care settings contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Proficient in the use of sales force competency based models
  • Marketing experience is an asset
  • Experience in career progression systems
  • Demonstrated success with a complex sales cycle and multiple calls points (ex: COS, Strategic Selling).
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with senior / executive health care managers.
  • Ability to work within a diverse and matrix style environment.
  • Must have strong Leadership skills.
  • Managerial courage, ability to motivate others, integrity, empathy
  • Strategic skills and agility.
  • Good presentation skills and public speaking skills.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory area.
  • Proven ability to build positive customer relationships quickly
  • Ability to network effectively at all levels
  • Must have a positive attitude and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude and excellent communication skills with a highly energetic sales personality
  • Bilingual (English/French) is preferred.

  • Incumbent will spend significant amount of time traveling
  • May have to work evenings & weekends.

    Le Chef Régional des Ventes (RBM) – Ontario/Provinces de l'atlantique dirigera et développera une équipe régionale des ventes et de soutien efficace, capable d'atteindre les objectifs commerciaux fixés par l'entreprise. Ce poste sera responsable du recrutement, du développement/conseil et de l'évaluation de la performance des gestionnaires de territoire ainsi que de la réalisation de l'objectif de vente dans les limites du budget de la région.


    • Diriger, motiver et inspirer l'équipe régionale pour établir et entretenir de solides relations avec les clients, dégager un moral fort au sein de l'organisation et illustrer les valeurs et les comportements de Convatec.


    • Mettre en œuvre les stratégies décrites par l'équipe de gestion des ventes et du marketing.


    • Diriger tous les membres de l'équipe régionale pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans d'affaires alignés sur les objectifs et les priorités commerciales de l'entreprise et de la région.


    • Diriger le processus de contrats au sein de la région et être impliqué dans la gestion des contrats des groupes régionaux de santé.


    • Cultiver les relations entre les gouvernements provinciaux et tous les tiers payeurs afin d'influencer positivement les politiques contractuelles et les politiques de remboursement.


    • Gérer les budgets opérationnels régionaux.


    • 50 % de déplacement dans les régions.

    Qualifications:


    • Un minimum d'un baccalauréat est requis


    • Trois à cinq années d'expérience réussie en gestion des ventes dans le milieu médical et/ou hospitalier sont requises


    • Connaissance approfondie de l'environnement contractuel provincial et d'autres établissements de soins.


    • Maîtrise de PowerPoint, Excel, Word


    • Maîtrise de l'utilisation de modèles basés sur les compétences de la force de vente


    • Une expérience en marketing est un atout


    • Expérience dans les systèmes de progression de carrière


    • Succès démontré avec un cycle de vente complexe et plusieurs points d'appel (ex : COS, Strategic Selling).


    • Solides compétences en négociation et expérience dans les relations avec des gestionnaires supérieurs/exécutifs des soins de santé.


    • Capacité à travailler dans un environnement diversifié et matriciel.
