Manufacturing Technician - Guelph, Canada - PeopleConnect
Description
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure quality output and efficiency
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic repairs
- Interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment and work area
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CNC machines and/or robotics
- Proficiency in technical software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Technical degree or certification in a relevant field
Salary:
$18.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (preferred)
