    Description
    Automotive Oil & Lube Technician (Top Side Technician) - Duncan

Valvoline's Great Canadian Oil Change is looking to hire a Top Side Oil & Lube Technician to be a part of our Duncan team.
    *As an Automotive Oil & Lube Technician (Top Side Technician) no day is ever dull. If you are ready to take the initiative, we are here to help you put your career on the fast-track to success.
    Within 4 weeks of training and development*_, you will be tasked with the following under hood checks:

    • Oil check
    • Battery's Test
    • You will be responsible for removing top side oil filters (when applicable)
    _*Within 8 weeks of training and development*_, you will be able to use the following shop machines:

    • Oil Evacuation Machines
    • Within 16 weeks of training and development _– learn the position of a Customer Service Representative – which utilizes the company's Point of Sale (POS) system to create customer work orders and complete invoices
    *Upon Being Hired *- _additional bonus on top of your hourly base rate from a commission structure on goods/services provided to be received_

    • Become familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and other policies and procedures
    • Help maintain a clean, well-organized top side service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environment working in collaboration with the bottom side team members
    *Willingness to continue to work towards completion of online training modules in our Valvoline University

    • Openness to training and development – as part of our mentor/mentee program – where you will be partnered with a Senior Tech/Management
    • Knowledge of cash handling, facility and safety control policies and practices
