    About the Job:

    We're looking for a Registered Nurse:
    • Provides nursing care to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients, both independently and as part of a team
    • Enhances quality of life for patients and families; collaborates with other healthcare providers
    • Demonstrates continuous improvement in nursing practice
    • Maintains and advances clinical competence
    • Participates in hospital committees/teams and research projects

    This is a CASUAL OPPORTUNITY. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary, shifts may be at short notice. Casual employees can apply for internal postings for permanent and temporary positions. Interior Health offers opportunities starting with casual positions that can lead to regular employment.

    Shifts will include both days and nights, rotating between 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15.

    Join our dynamic team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) Critical Care Department for a variety of patient care experiences. Our ICU has 6 beds with nurses working 12-hour shifts.
