    Registered Nurse Position at KBRH Hospital




    Job Description:

    • Delivers nursing care to operating room patients autonomously and as part of a team
    • Improves the well-being of patients and families by collaborating with other healthcare professionals
    • Evolves in nursing practice through continuous enhancements and evidence-based methods
    • Enhances personal clinical skills and knowledge
    • Participates in hospital committees, teams, and research projects
    This is an opportunity for casual employment where shifts may vary and are not guaranteed. Casual employees can apply for permanent or temporary positions within the organization. Many career progression opportunities start with casual roles and can lead to regular employment.


    Shifts will be scheduled during days and evenings, ranging from 07:00 to 23:00 hours.

    KBRH is a full-service regional hospital with 75 beds catering to 80,000 individuals in the Kootenay Boundary area. The hospital offers various surgical services such as General, Orthopedic, OB/Gyne, ENT, Plastics, Urology, and Ophthalmology.

    Joining the KBRH Operating Room team means coordinating client care, providing clinical leadership, planning and implementing healthcare interventions, and delegating tasks within the healthcare team.
