    Description

    Job Title:
    Senior Financial Analyst

    Position Summary:

    Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will report to and work closely with the Vice-President of Finance & Controller by providing financial support, guidance and insightful analysis to help make strategic, data-driven decisions that will have an impact on our growth and profitability for years to come.

    This individual will be instrumental in helping build out and design the FP&A function.

    Responsibilities:
    Duties include but are not limited to:
    Maintain effective financial models and reports, create dashboards and prepare management reporting packages which include commentary, meaningful insights and support queries for strategic analysis, variances and KPIs
    Leverage business knowledge to prepare and monitor financial and operational KPI's/business drivers and metrics, understanding trends and providing insight
    Assist in Analyzing and interpreting Financial Statements entailing periodic comparison and variance analysis
    Assist in the development of annual budget and long-term planning process and analyzing actuals against budget/forecast and prior year
    Develop financial forecast, analyze expenditure trends including headcounts and capital expenditure, recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
    Prepare and analyze departmental financial performance statements to ascertain revenue and cost from specific streams
    Ad Hoc financial report creation and analysis as required by management


    Qualifications:
    Minimum 2-3 years of progressive experience in an FP&A role with in-depth analysis capability
    University degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce or a CPA/CFA designation or close to obtaining the CPA/CFA designation.
    Ability to work with a large volume of data.
    Experience with SAP accounting system and Power BI would be an added advantage
    Highly Proficient in intermediate to advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint presentations
    Solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to meet a variety of deadlines
    Takes initiative, able to work independently and as an integral team member.
