    Senior IT Systems Engineer

    As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, your pivotal role encompasses providing technical support and effective remediation strategies. Collaboratively, our team endeavors to empower small and medium-sized enterprises with cutting-edge technology, fostering profitability, productivity, and a sense of security.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    - comprehensive end user support, including remote assistance and onsite visits.
    - level 2 projects and incident resolution efficiently.
    - maintenance and development of client relationships.
    - maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, applications, and security systems.
    - and pursue new business opportunities with clients.
    - as a liaison between clients and third-party vendors/suppliers.
    - effectively with clients to understand and address their needs and expectations.
    - all actions and maintain ticketing systems for efficient tracking.
    - and maintain client platforms, including Azure Cloud and on-premises solutions.
    - timely response to incidents, outages, and performance alerts.
    - and prioritize incidents based on customer business requirements.
    - with internal and external technical teams to resolve issues and update knowledgebase.
    - with the design and implementation of secure application solutions.
    - identify and address vulnerabilities in the computing environment.
    - tech support and advice to customers and internal staff.
    - IT tasks related to new employee onboarding and terminations.
    - and resolve network issues related to services such as DHCP and DNS.
    - improve staff technologies and the overall computing environment.
    - multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail in a team-based environment.
    - effective communication concepts and techniques to transmit information accurately.

    Education and certifications:

    Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering or any other related field.

    Required Skills:

    5+ years of expertise in VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms, Windows Server administration, MSA/SAN installation, and Microsoft Server operating systems.

    Proven expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and supporting a range of Microsoft products, including Windows Server, all Windows desktop OS' from Win 7 Professional forward, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Experience in general server administration duties and exposure to Azure, Datto, VMware, Hyper V, O365, and all suites of MS products, along with familiarity with various AV platforms.

    Excelling in Remote Support for a Variety of Technologies Utilizing Different Remote Connectivity Tools. Proficient in Client-Side Computing and Maintaining Technical Documentation.

    Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of printers and desktops, coupled with adeptness in general server administration duties.

    Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, including configuration, management, and troubleshooting of components such as Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.

    Hands-on knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus, and spam filtering software, with practical experience in Firewalls, switches, and wireless technologies, preferably in Cisco, Watchguard, Fortinet, Sophos, and Ubiquiti.

    Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently, demonstrating a team attitude, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to professional growth.

    Preferred Skills:

    Professional certifications in additional technology fields, including AutoTask PSA, DATTO RMM, Kaseya VSA, and ITGlue.

    Aider à la conception et à la mise en œuvre de solutions d'application sécurisées.

    Identifier et traiter proactivement les vulnérabilités dans l'environnement informatique.

    Fournir un support technique et des conseils aux clients et au personnel interne.

    Gérer les tâches informatiques liées à l'intégration et à la cessation d'activité des nouveaux employés.

    Dépanner et résoudre les problèmes réseau liés à des services tels que DHCP et DNS.

    Améliorer continuellement les technologies du personnel et l'environnement informatique global.

    Gérer plusieurs projets et priorités avec attention aux détails dans un environnement basé sur l'équipe.

    Utiliser des concepts et des techniques de communication efficaces pour transmettre des informations avec précision.

    Créer des propriétés intellectuelles internes autour de cadres stratégiques et du développement de stratégies.

    Formation et certifications :

    Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, génie ou tout autre domaine connexe.

    Compétences requises :

    Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans les plateformes de virtualisation VMware et/ou Hyper-V, l'administration de serveurs Windows, l'installation de MSA/SAN et les systèmes d'exploitation Microsoft Server.

    Expertise avérée dans l'installation, le dépannage et le support d'une gamme de produits Microsoft, y compris Windows Server, tous les systèmes d'exploitation Windows de Win 7 Professional à aujourd'hui, et la suite Microsoft Office.
