    Purpose

    The Scotia iTRADE Senior Sales Associate plays a key role in the Sales & Partnerships team in Canada, ensuring individual goals are met, while complying with regulations and internal policies.

    As a part of Scotia iTRADE's Sales & Partnerships team, you will onboard client leads via telephone or email for new accounts and account funding, contributing to business growth. Additionally, you will manage inbound calls and emails from new and existing clients for account openings and transfers, providing a top-notch client experience.

    Your main responsibilities include acquiring new online brokerage accounts, ensuring exceptional client onboarding, and supporting sales efforts for business growth.

    • Ensure timely client transaction processing

    Education / Experience / Other Information

    • University degree or equivalent
    • Sales Contact Centre experience preferred
    • Canadian Securities Course license preferred
    • Thorough understanding of Scotia iTRADE products
    • Familiar with competitor offerings
    • Minimum 2 years industry experience
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Proactive and perseverant
    • Bilingualism (French and English) an asset
    • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

    Working Conditions

    • Standard office-based environment
    • Non-standard hours may be required
    • Work in a Contact Centre environment
    • Interact with clients via phone and email
    • Subject to unpredictable call volumes
