Role and Responsibilities

Qualifications:


  • MSc/MA preferred, BSc/BA acceptable
  • Previous allied health experience a strong asset
  • Basic knowledge of the scientific research process, including study design, ethics, etc;
  • Experience in the setup and implementation of clinical research projects a strong asset
  • Knowledge of basic statistics concepts
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently with mínimal supervision, and as a member of a multidisciplinary research team with clinical experts
  • Strong ability and interest in working in a learning environment
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access)
  • Highly motivated, with initiative and ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of initiative required
  • Demonstrated excellent time management skills and exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Detailoriented, dependable and flexible
  • Experience in writing of technical reports an asset
  • Some travel required
  • A recent Provincial Directive mandates all employees of public hospitals in Ontario to be either fully vaccinated for COVID19 or be regularly tested. All new employees joining Sinai Health must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 or have received at least one dose of a COVID19 vaccine and be on track toward full vaccination within six (6) weeks; participating in mandatory twice weekly Rapid Antigen Testing Program until fully vaccinated. There are very limited circumstances in which approval will be given for a medical exemption from receiving the COVID19 vaccine._
