- Provides excellent customer service, in a Cafeteria Style unit, reinforcing and leading by example; addresses customer complaints in a professional manner
- Assists with the preparation of all food and beverage and service to customers
- Ensures areas are safe, clean and wellorganized to meet all customer, client and company needs
- Ensures procedures for safe food storage, handling and preparation as outlined by Health & Safety Food regulations
- Maintains inventory levels and ensures stock of organized and rotated
- Prepares and completes all daily cash reconciliation reports
- May assist in conducting monthly Workplace Health & Safety Inspections; completes all reports
- Ensures that staff orientation, training and development activities, including Health & Safety training are according to policy, procedure and guidelines
- Adheres to all Polices and Procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years food service experience would be an asset
- Solid knowledge of food service principals, processes, procedures, policies, directives and guidelines
- Good proficiency and experience with word processing (MS Word), spreadsheets (MS Excel), company software and database programs
- Ability to maintain confidentiality where mandated or required, particularly as it relates to company business, financial and employee / HR information
- Solid knowledge of customer service skills to ensure excellent customer service to client and customers
- Ability to lead, coordinate and supervise the completion of work, providing daytoday oversight; to make recommendations into the hiring, performance evaluation and discipline of staff
- Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate
- Current CPR, First Aid and WHMIS Training would be an asset
- Successful Police Check will be required
