- Architect and manage a leading enhanced risk framework tailored for our Managed Services, leveraging emerging technologies such as AI and Automation to drive compliance and speed to market. Ensure this framework aligns with our firm's overarching risk strategy and global guidelines
- Drive strategic discussions on risk management, partnering with business and technology specialists and various stakeholders. Oversee and guide our Acceleration team, ensuring their effective support for our risk initiatives
- Monitor industry shifts, emerging risks, and regulatory updates related to our Managed Services implementation. Advise top leadership, including board members, on adjusting our framework in response
- Deliver impactful firmwide training on Managed Services risk management. Foster a culture centered on informed and ethical decision-making
- Partnering with our Analytics experts, use data to craft KPIs that measure our delivery effectiveness, reporting insights to senior leadership. Continuously enhance our firm's integrated risk capabilities, spearheading new initiatives using AI and emerging technologies in conjunction with our leverage model
- Develop and uphold risk management policies ensuring compliance with current standards
- Liaise with Risk & Quality teams, Internal Audit, and Governance teams to increase effectiveness of our control environment
- Regularly report to the Office of the Chief Risk and Resilience Officer and other high-level stakeholders about the status of risk management initiatives, challenges, and successes, while also leading strategic discussions on these topics
- Experience with risk management software and other technological tools that support risk analysis is desirable
- A solid understanding of emerging technologies, their applications in managed services, and their associated risks
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to emerging technology, professional services and accounting industry
- Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR and PIPEDA
- Interest in leveraging emerging technology, data analytics, and visualization tools to identify, assess, and monitor risks
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, with strong prioritization and delegation skills
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to guide teams, conduct training, and foster a culture of risk-aware decision-making
