    AECOM is searching for a Municipal Engineer to be based in our Kelowna, BC office.

    The appropriately qualified candidate will have experience in civil engineering, civil technology and construction management principles and is very familiar with the design and construction of municipal infrastructure.

    They will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and clients.

    They will be expected to support in the delivery of infrastructure to customers mostly within the municipal water, wastewater and storm water sector.

    Working knowledge of water / wastewater / drainage conveyance infrastructure in a municipal environment.
    Design of civil systems associated with municipal water and/or wastewater /drainage conveyance facilities.
    Lead construction contract administration.
    Prepare documentation for design projects and reports.
    Preparation of project specifications and contract documents.
    contract preparation and negotiation; coordination with regulatory agencies; project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
    4+ years of related experience with civil engineering, design, construction inspection, contract administration.
    Proficient with MS Office Suite.
    Valid BC Class V Driver's License.
    Experience with municipal water, wastewater and/or stormwater conveyance and pumping infrastructure.
    Experience in proposal writing, scoping and project management
    Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors and clients.
    MMCD Contract Administration certification is a benefit.

    Design of systems associated with lift stations, pump stations and other mechanical equipment associated with water and wastewater utilities would be an asset.

    Experience with trenchless technologies would be an asset.
