Why This Role is Important:


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Operations & Payment, you will support PCMC & PCMA Product Management, Card Management, Platform Management, Payment Processing & Investigations, and Cost & Process Optimization related activities.


What You'll Do:

  • Support organization plans to achieve continued process improvement and cost efficiencies
  • Manage Business and Regulatory changes for the PC Mastercard and PC Money Account Card Carriers and Card Design
  • As part of Card Management activities, you will support Welcome Kit Budget Lines, Welcome Kit Reprints and support optimizations to the Card Issuance process
  • Partner with key stakeholders to leverage data to identify potential customer experience issues / defects and leverage problem solving skills to identify solutions
  • Maintain current state and target state processes for PC Bank including standard operating procedures, key controls, operational risk assessments and documentation
  • Engage key collaborators to ensure regulatory compliance for PC Bank Products and support execution of regulatory projects
  • Support Payment Platforms by building a deep knowledge of the PCMA money movement rails (Interac, EFT, EDI, Bill Pay) and lead problem solving and solution development, as we work to improve the customer experience
  • Partner with the cross functional teams in the problemdefinition process, culminating in the recommendation and implementation of concrete solutions.
  • Support a robust set of KPIs and metrics that will allow senior management to gain insight and make effective decisions in terms of mitigating risk and coordinating the daytoday operations of the group.
  • Consistently identifying sources of complexity, manual processes and recommending simplification, automation via technology enabled/process improvement solutions that are long term and scalable.

What You Bring:

  • University degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Product Management, (Payment) Operations, Project Management, or Process Management domain
  • A process mentality with expert level attention to detail
  • The ability to see the big picture, but work through the fine details to solve a problem
  • Experience writing and maintaining policies and procedures for financial products
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment dealing with ambiguous business challenges
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to synthesize data to derive insights
  • Independent worker who can drive solutions when provided adequate direction on focus areas
  • Experience identifying various business problems/opportunities and finding creative solutions
  • Experience in banking and payments with specific deposits experience considered a big asset
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships
  • Project Management certification/ Agile project management experience is a plus
