    As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking a Network Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals located at our head office in Kitchener, ON.     Responsibilities may include:

    • Ideal to have experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco switches and Next Gen Firewalls, such as Palo Alto, Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP or Palo Alto PCNSE is an asset.
    • Bonus to have a general understanding of:
    • Networking concepts, including topologies, VLANs, dynamic routing protocols, segmentation and IP addressing
    • VPN connections/remote access
    • Cybersecurity principles such as zero trust, end-point security, monitoring and alerting tools
    • Disaster recovery exercises (configuring, implementing, documenting)
    Qualifications Required:
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several customers, different remediation lists, wide variety of tasks, all to be delivered in a timely manner
    • Strong analytical and organization skills is a must
    • Strong communication skills. Clear communication with our customers' IT & Cyber teams around the change management process is critical to success
    • Ensure processes and playbooks are maintained - experience with changes to real time operational systems is an asset
    • Must work well with multiple teams, be able to prioritize work, and work independent with minimal supervision
    • Ability to learn latest ideas and technology quickly and teach others
    • Need to be flexible for working hours. Changes are often implemented in the night time hours.
    • Ability to travel if needed
