    What we are looking for:

    As a member of the Reactivation Care Centre team, you will work within a patient-focused care model in the provision of quality, customer focused, patient/family centred care. You will utilize your demonstrated clinical leadership, case management, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills to develop, implement and evaluate comprehensive plans of care to meet the patient/family needs. Your excellent clinical leadership skills will assist you in working with the interprofessional team in the further development of programs to enhance and support patient care.

    What you bring to the role:

    • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses
    • Current BCLS certification
    • Minimum of 2 – 3 years related experience in a Medical/Long term Care environment with evidence of well developed clinical skills. Previous palliative care experience is an asset
    • RNAO membership is preferred
    • Completion of Gentle Persuasion is an asset
    • Excellent physical assessment skills; completion of a physical assessment course will be considered a strong asset
    • Experience in IV Therapy and central lines is an asset
    • Working knowledge of computer technology
    • Demonstrated commitment to a patient/family centred care environment
    • Demonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interprofessional team as well as independently
    • Well developed organization, communication, interpersonal and teaching skills
    • Evidence of ongoing professional development, continuing education and leadership experience
    • Demonstrated good and performance and attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
    • Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

    Work Schedule:

    The successful candidate will be required to work 12 hour day and night shifts Monday through Sunday.

    Compensation:

    Salary Grid: Band J
    $37.96- $54.42 per hour
