Job description:

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction in lecture and/or laboratory format based on the approved curricula
Implement and manage company policies and procedures such as attendance, grade reports, midterm reports, student advising forms, and all other assigned educational materials on a timely basis
Timely completion and submission of all grade books and marking of all tests, examinations and assignments
Participate in faculty/staff meetings, committee meetings, professional development workshops, graduation ceremonies, and other school functions as requested

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Healthcare Management or Healthcare Administration and certification as a Registered Health Information Technician or Registered Health Information Administrator required.
Familiar with the Canadian public health system and the healthcare industry.
Minimum 3 years' healthcare management teaching and industry experience.
Working knowledge of electronic healthcare record systems. Must possess an understanding of instructional technology.
Must demonstrate continuing professional development related to the role of a healthcare management professional.
Prior teaching experience in a college or university setting; practical experience in the Healthcare Management field.
Knowledge of curriculum development, implementation and assessment.
Demonstrated ability to teach within, and contribute positively to, a diverse, multiethnic, multicultural student population and campus environment.
Letters of recommendation (all should be professional references and at least one from a recent superior) required.
