Description
Our client is looking for a Logistics Customer Service Agent. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless operations of our Dispatch Center.Your responsibilities will revolve around interacting with both internal and external customers, managing incoming orders, utilizing dispatch software, and ensuring compliance with US border documentation.
Reporting directly to the Logistics Regional Manager, you'll be an integral part of our team ensuring efficient communication and order processing.
This position has a non-negotiable 5 x 5 x 4 rotation ( 5 days, 5 nights then 4 days off).
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to address customer inquiries and promote new products.
- Input incoming orders into dispatch software and verify product availability.
- Complete all necessary US interjurisdictional paperwork.
- Verify order agreements across multiple platforms and initiate the billing process.
- Gather and record customer feedback for further analysis.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in Transportation or Logistics preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in a customer servicerelated role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive and serviceoriented attitude.
- Familiarity with JDE software is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced and occasionally highpressure environment.
- Proficient in various software platforms and comfortable handling phone communications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in building and maintaining relationships, particularly with truck drivers and staff, is beneficial.
- Knowledge or experience in bulk liquid logistics is a plus.
Pay:
$23.86 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
