Purpose of Role:

The Sales Order Administrator's core focus and responsibility is to execute our Original Equipment (OE) order fulfillment requirements with internal Weir intercompany suppliers.

This position is ideal for individuals who are technically inclined, solutions focused and detail orientated with a strong background in administrative processes.

You have excellent customer service skills (verbal/written) and a passion for helping others and work well within a high paced environment, involving high value capital equipment transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus Area: Coordinate OE order fulfillment requirements with internal Weir intercompany suppliers and work with internal departments on tools to streamline our order entry processes.
  • Focus Area: Produce OE quotations and respond quicky to all inquiries with a solutions based mentality
  • Focus Area: Act as intermediary between Weir Technology Groups (e.g., Crushing, Screening, HPGR) in communicating our regional delivery needs.
  • Focus Area: Operate and work within SAP to enter and track PO's, review material lists, ensure timely delivery, and monitor payments.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 35 years of administrative/data entry experience
  • SAP experience preferred
