    Description
    Forklift Operator, Electric Standup Crown Dockstocker Forklift (reverse steering), needed in Markham/Richmond Hill. Clean and well-organized warehouse. Isles are kept clear, racking is in good shape, well lit, positive team environment. They do maintain a quick pace, but not overwhelming.


    This is a contract to hire position with the intention of seeing if you're a good fit with the company before providing you with a permanent opportunity somewhere between 3-6 months.

    Upon being hired, you'll receive a raise to $22-23/hr, benefits starting right away, vacation pay, and two set weeks of paid vacation weeks (one in June and one in December).


    Job Title:

    Shift Times: 8AM to 4:30PM - Monday to Friday

    Over Time:
    When required until 5:30 pm

    Pay:
    $20 - $21/hr

    Location:
    Markham/Richmond Hill (Highway 7 and Leslie)

    Contract Duration:
    Contract to hire (3-6 months)

    Responsibilities

    What you'll be doing:
    *Loading and unloading of pallets from trailers
    *Receive incoming tickets
    *Put-away incoming receiving tickets and pallets
    *Willing to participate in Kaizen events/ Continuous improvements
    *Pick orders and stock
    *Shipping/receiving
    *Shrink wrap pallets
    *Maintain and organize inventory
    *Other duties
    *Perform Forklift Daily Inspection

    • 5S on aisle(s) assigned
    Qualifications

    • Crown Forklift Experience (Reverse Standing Dock Stocker)
    • Forklift Certification
    • Safety footwear
    • Ability to work on fast paced environments
    • Safety conscious
