Summary
The arts Assistant is responsible for supplying technicians with the correct parts (and any additional or secondary parts required).


The Parts Assistant is a great listener and is a master at executing all the parts duties with due diligence and customer service and safety in mind.

The Parts Assistant builds strong relationships with co-workers in an effort to achieve sales targets and utilises the tools provided to ensure the highest level of service

The Parts Assistant upholds the dealerships' standards and values through every interaction. As a team player, the Parts Assistant fosters excellent relationships with personnel in all areas of the dealership.


The Details
The Parts Assistant will receive all parts that arrive at the body shop

The Parts Assistant will inspect all parts for damage to ensure the quality expected for our customers.

The Parts Assistant will make sure all parts are put away in the correct bins or taken directly to the technician as required


The Parts Assistant will ensure that only current parts are in the storage shelves by regularly checking for aged parts and by notifying the parts advisers so they can investigate.


The Parts Assistant will be disposable for pre picking all parts orders for jobs scheduled to begin repairs in the shop the next day or as dirrected by the shop production manager.


Develops and Maintains Strong Relationships with co workers

  • Address questions/needs promptly and professionally.
  • Can lift in excess of 50 lbs, repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Maintains required data for parts inventory, shipments and deliveries.
Be detail oriented

  • Actively maintain the cleanliness of personal and team work spaces.
  • Maintain a high level of grooming, hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Ensure all documentation/paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure parts are labelled, inventoried and assigned correctly.
  • Ensures all customer and inventory documents are completed accurately and expediently.
