    This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, well-rounded, Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Project team in our Toronto location to work full-time on one specific client assignment. The client is a large Canadian company that has global operations. Our assignment relates to maintaining 100 general ledgers (80% of the entities with little or no activity). Your role as a key member of the team will be involved in client service, working on a team basis, and executing on the Project along with a Partner, Senior Manager, Manager and 3 other staff. Travel will not be required so it presents an opportunity to work in a hybrid function from our Downtown Toronto office, while at the same time, learn about financing structures for global acquisitions and financing products.

    As Senior Accountant (Public Entity Client), you'll have the opportunity to:

    • 3-5 years of experience in accounting / finance department

    • Strong technical expertise in accounting and experience with public entity reporting

    • Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

    • Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail

    • Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite and ability to grasp new technology tools
