Full-Time or Part-Time Position
The department of Diagnostic Imaging at Pembroke Regional Hospital is currently actively recruiting a general radiologist for a full-time or part-time permanent position.
In addition, we would be excited to discuss future opportunities with trainees interested in pursuing a community radiology career.The successful candidate will be joining a group of 6 radiologists and practice in a friendly, collegial facility, with state-of-the-art equipment.
The successful candidate is expected to be proficient in all major modalities, including fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI. Training and/or experience in MSK, Neuro' or Women's imaging would be an asset.The radiology group has a focus on providing excellent service in both diagnostic and procedural branches of radiology while maintaining a favourable work life balance.
The department has a very strong relationship with the referring services in the hospital. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with other physicians.The candidate must hold a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be licensed in the province of Ontario.
Pembroke is a vibrant community approximately 90 minutes from Ottawa and 5 minutes from the border with Quebec, located on the Ottawa River.
The candidate is expected to relocate to the community or surrounding area. The region is a playground for the nature enthusiast. Countless outdoor activities are available in the surrounding area in both summer and winter.The river offers recreational boating, kayaking, fishing and swimming throughout the summer.
There are excellent maintained trails available year round for both motorized and non-motorized activities including hiking, biking, walking, snowshoeing, downhill and XC skiing.
