RESPONSIBILITIES
Key financial/accounting liaison for business unit leaders, product line owners and other corporate groups. Act as an advisor and strategic partner to these groups for all financial, operational and client matters.
Work collaboratively with a finance business partnering teams of other business units, Controllership function, etc. to achieve desired financial outcomes
Responsible for the management, consolidation and delivery of the annual plan and quarterly reforecasts for various business units & cost centres
Liaison with the Corporate accounting team on revenue recognition, internal controls, accounts receivable, audits and general accounting.
Responsible for the review and delivery of monthly financial reporting package, including insights and analysis on key drivers, opportunities, and risks
Responsible for the analysis and dashboard reporting for Market Business Leaders
Develops confidence with key business leaders through value added/ad hoc analysis and/or ownership of critical projects
Provide proactive decision-making support to all stakeholders
Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
Lead team in the completion of internal and external financial audits
Assumes ownership of all Financial Processes within given span of control
Interpret key financial data for the region, identify significant variances and make recommendations to improve
Understanding of project accounting and percentage completion methodology of revenue recognition required
Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. And a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
CPA and/or MBA is preferred
3 years of direct management/supervisory experience
Strong accounting skills and attention to detail required
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills to internal and external parties
Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic
Understanding of and commitment to client service
A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
