Description
Our steel tube and pipe products have helped build landmarks and buildings in North America; Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright for our facility located in Harrow, Ontario, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing/light industrial setting.Follows and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
# Adhere to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safety policies & procedures such as LOTO & Arc Flash and other safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.
# Performs mechanical and hydraulic maintenance in all areas of the Plant including industrial equipment, mechanical and hydraulic power systems, mechanical drives, and the repair and installation of operations and maintenance equipment.
# Troubleshoots Mechanical drives and manufacturing equipment.
# Performs Preventive & Predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
# Available to work rotating shifts including weekend and Overtime.
# Ensure work orders are being updated and closed in SAP as work is getting completed and parts are removed from stock against the work orders.
# Regular, full-time predictable onsite attendance is an essential function of this role.
Must hold a valid Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) License.
Trade or technical school diploma (Including Welding, Blueprint Reading, Hydraulics, and Mechanical Training).
Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial environment performing related work.
Mechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirements.
Proficient comprehension of industrial equipment, repair, and plant operations.
Ability to interface with computers and efficient at problem solving.
